In accordance with the Ministry of Education (MOE) Guidelines for Facilitating Character and/or Moral Education Programs, character and life education at MMU is integrated into student development and holistic education through academic curricula and co-curricular activities. We are dedicated to strengthening the recognition of contemporary core values among faculty and students. Our mission is to cultivate responsible citizens with well-rounded personalities, civic literacy, and humanistic values, thereby achieving the holistic education goals to know, cherish, and practice goodness.

🏛️ Character and Life Education Committee
To ensure the systematic integration and long-term implementation of character and life education, Mackay Medical University has established a dedicated committee. The committee is responsible for developing institutional codes of conduct tailored to our university’s distinctive identity, establishing self-evaluation and continuous improvement mechanisms, and ensuring the sustainable practice of character and life education.
👥Committee Structure and Leadership:
- Chair:The University President chairs the committee, leading the institutional direction.
- Executive Secretary:The Dean of Student Affairs serves as the Executive Secretary, overseeing general operations.
- Administrative Coordinator:The Chief of the Student Life Section serves as the Administrative Coordinator.
- Committee Members:The committee members include the Dean of Academic Affairs, the Director of General Affairs, the Office of the Chaplain, the Center for Holistic Education, the Student Counselling Center, the Information Technology Center, faculty representatives from each department and graduate institute, and student representatives.
